FPHS Spring 2025 Speaker Series: Rob Mattson

“U.S. Navy and Coast Guard in World War II – Northeast Florida”
Rob Mattson is a Civil War Navy living historian and re-enactor. Rob has also been working on an impression of a World War II U.S. Navy seaman. He will dressed in the “dungaree” uniform of a WWII sailor and will bring a small display of some of the items he has been collecting in recent years.
Rob will present an overview of the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard bases and activities in northeast Florida during WWII.
