2026 Historical Marker
On May 3, 2026, Fruitland Peninsula Historical Society unveiled its second historical marker, honoring past and present congregation members of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Comforter for their dedication to caring for the first church built in Cresceent City.

Bob Lee provided this video of the dedication ceremony, which was followed by lunch provided by the church’s congregation.

2025 Historical Marker
The Fruitland Peninsula Historical Society unveiled its first annual historical marker on May 10, 2025, to recognize a local site of historical significance. This honor was given to the Hubbard-Morris House, the only structure in Crescent City individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
