This building was constructed about 1920 as the second Crescent City residence of Crandol and Lillian Harris. Crandol Harris was a farmer who raised tobacco in the Connecticut Valley and Massachusetts. After establishing his winter residence in Crescent City, he invested in citrus property and constructed the house at 204 Edgewood Avenue.
