The Camellias of the Crescent City Historic District

Are you ready for Spring? We are, too!

Lisa Kane DeVitto will present this program is about the beautiful camellias of the Crescent City Historic District, and the people who cultivated them in the Golden Age of Gardening in our area. Lisa will be sharing the beauty of the blooms at select houses, and stories shared by our current members and residents from days gone by.

Lisa is a third generation Crescent Citian. In 2010, Lisa and her husband purchased her grandparents’ home at 108 South Main Street, a contributing structure to the Crescent City Historic District. She is a longtime community volunteer, and served on the city Trees and Gardens Board before becoming a Crescent City Commissioner in 2018.
